VLTs in Manitoba

Where you find them

Terminals run 9:00 am to 2:45 am, every day, though hours may vary by location². VLTs are also in First Nations communities and veterans' organizations⁸.

The VLT Locator lets you search by postal code, keyword or business name⁷.

Money in, money out

VLTs take Canadian bills up to $100 or a VLT ticket printed at that location⁹. They stop accepting cash once the balance is above $100, and at $1,250 or more they print a $1,250 cash-out ticket¹⁰.

Retailers may not give credit, including through debit cards, credit cards or cheques¹¹.

How the payout works

The 93% figure is a cumulative average across the whole network, not a promise for one machine or one session⁵. Each spin is decided by a Random Number Generator, independent of past spins and of the bet size¹².

Before playing you pick a session time limit, and the VLT cashes out automatically after the second session expires¹³.
